Flexible employment relationships encompass all forms of work outside the permanent, indefinite-term employment contract, such as temporary agency work, on-call contracts, fixed-term contracts and freelance arrangements. Legislation from 2026 restricts the use of some flexible forms to counter excessive insecurity for workers.
